Overview
Giuseppe Montesano graduated in mechanical engineering and specialised in energy transformation and energy systems in 1985. After experiences in the electro-mechanic industry, he has worked for Enel since 1988, developing renewable energy projects, designing environmental and low-carbon strategies for the Group, and advising on regulatory matters. He has covered several managerial positions including Network and Tariff Regulation, Head of Environment, Head of European Regulation and Scenarios, Head of European Energy Policy. He chairs Eurelectric’s Electrification & Sustainability Committee and is Vice-Chair of the Italian National Committee of the World Energy Council.
He is presently Deputy Director of Enel Foundation.
