Enel Foundation will be the global ‘Knowledge Partner’ of the first Global Forum by the Florence School of Regulation (FSR), taking place March 25-28 in Florence. Enel Foundation has announced the collaboration with FSR, part of the European University Institute, aimed at providing support to the program definition, leading panel discussions and disseminating results.
The Florence School of Regulation (FSR), directed by Jean-Michel Glachant, was established as a center of excellence for independent discussion and dissemination of knowledge regarding European regulation and policy. It delivers high quality and relevant academic thinking on EU policy and regulation in the areas of Energy, Climate, Energy Union Law, Communications & Media, Transport and Water.
Florence School of Regulation, in partnership with Enel Foundation, organizes the Global Forum on World Energy Transition as a 4-days high-level gathering of experts on energy transition, aiming to stimulate practice-oriented solutions and knowledge sharing among key decision makers. The Forum will gather more than 100 senior representatives from government agencies, regulatory bodies, energy companies, development organizations, think tanks and academics specifically from Europe, Asia, Africa, Northern and Latin America.
The main thematic lines of the Global Forum include electrification and universal access to energy, power markets and networks, electric vehicles, digitalization, electricity storage and decarbonisation.
