For the 2020 Ambrosetti Forum, Enel Foundation and The European House Ambrosetti will present: "Circular Europe: how to successfully manage the transition from a linear to a circular world". The study aims to assess the state-of-the-art of circular economy in EU27+UK.

Hybrid Metrics: Connecting Shared Value to Shareholder Value

Enel Foundation carried out a research using hybrid metrics to combine social and environmental performances with standard measures of financial outcomes. The report will be published on September, 8.

Open Africa Power

For the 3° edition of OAP the academic part of the Italian Module will be delivered online, offering the participants the chance to follow digital classes on the new frontiers of the energy sector given by distiguished professors of Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano, Bocconi University and Venice International University.

Organized every year by the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, the event will focus on electricity networks and their role in a net zero carbon economy. It will investigate the impact that policies made to achieve net zero carbon targets will have on electricity networks in terms of role, operation, investment, competition, and regulation.

Study on distributional effects of EU climate policies 

Tentative date June - Online

The research focuses on the distributional effects of the key climate policies needed to meet EU climate goals, and was undertaken by Eurelectric, with the technical collaboration of Guidehouse, Cambridge Econometrics and with Enel Foundation as Knowledge Partner. The public presentation of the study will take place through a digital event.

Enel Foundation will hold an online workshop with the students of the Master SAFE on two research studies: "Research Series on VRES and Grid Interconnection in South America" and "Global Perspective on the Future of Electric Public Transportation". This follows up on previous workshops where Senior Researchers from Enel Foundation shared recent studies of relevance to the Master on “Energy Resources Management”.

Virtual Solve at MIT

MIT Solve will host its flagship annual meeting, this year in digital form, to promote the 2020 challenges. Enel Foundation continues its collaboration with MIT Solve and will support the event with the involvement of OAP alumni and mentorship for the solvers of the challenges: Good Jobs & Inclusive Entrepreneurship; Learning for Girls and Women; Sustainable Food Systems; Maternal and Newborn Health. This year, there is also an extra challenge on Health Security and Pandemics.

Duemila30, Film Festival on UN Agenda 2030

Enel Foundation is a partner of the 2nd Edition of Duemila30 -  an International Short Festival for High School and University students, focused on the UN 2030 Agenda and organized in collaboration with the United Nations Regional Information Center (UNric) and United Nations Cinema. The Festival takes place in Milan from September 13-15 within the Milano Movie Week to emphasize the role of education and cinema for the SDG. Enel Foundation Knowledge partner of Charge, an international knowledge and networking platform for energy brands, for their annual Conference and awards event 2019.
