Attending Enlit Europe 2021 as Global Knowledge Partner

Today ends Enlit Europe 2021, started on November 30 and gone live from Milan with Enel Foundation as Global Knowledge Partner and Enel as Sustainable Power Partner. Enlit, formerly European Utility Week and POWERGEN Europe, is the biggest and first end-to-end conference and exhibition for energy professionals, offering a 365-day community that collaborates and innovates to solve the most pressing issues around the energy transition. The Enlit Europe 365 digital platform provides essential industry content and an opportunity for brands to promote products and services while networking within the power and electricity sector. The boundaries of the sector are blurring and this evolution is being shaped by established players, external disruptors, innovative start-ups and the increasingly engaged end-user. This is why Enlit brings together all the most influential parties, so to foster progress, collaboration and positive change.  

On the first day of the event, Enel Foundation’s Managing Director Carlo Papa delivered an inspiring talk on “Climate Change and Energy Transition: Actionable Angle along the Energy Value Chain”, orchestrated by Sasha Twining, Senior Presenter at BBC World Service. During his speech he tackled the crucial aspect of how properly depicting the energy transition and the fight against climate change, in particular for what concerns the value chain of rare earth elements, which are more and more at the core of the public debate around the energy transition that awaits us in the forthcoming future.
