2022 Edition of RES4Africa’s Advanced Training Course successfully concluded
The 9th edition of the Advanced Training Course for institutional representatives, high-level managers and other professionals operating in the African renewable energies sector, successfully reached its conclusion. Enel Foundation was Knowledge Partner for the course, implemented in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other institutions.

Enel Foundation launched a joint paper with IAI
11 December marked the third anniversary of the European Commission’s Green Deal, a milestone in EU energy policy. For the occasion, Enel Foundation launched the paper: “The External Dimension of the Green Deal, between Cooperation and Competition”, written by Pier Paolo Raimondi and Margherita Bianchi of IAI – Istituto Affari Internazionali, together with Enel Foundation researchers Nicolò Sartori and Maria Lelli.

Enel Foundation as Knowledge Partner of the VII Energy Week held in Panama
For the second year, Enel Foundation contributed as Knowledge Partner to the VII Energy Week, organized by OLADE - Organización Latinoamericana de Energía, the Energy Secretariat of Panama and the Inter-American Development Bank, The Energy Week represents an exceptional opportunity for governments, companies, experts and civil society to discuss at the regional level a broad set of energy-related topics such as decarbonization, energy security, innovation and climate policies.

RES4Africa and Enel Foundation supercharging Africa’s clean energy transition
Enel Foundation and RES4Africa have been collaborating on several different projects with the aim of ensuring Africa’s access to clean, affordable and reliable energy, in areas including awareness raising, training, African grid development and regulatory improvements. The first shared effort consisted of RES4Africa’s 5th Flagship Publication, Sustainable Electricity for a Prosperous Africa, celebrating 10 years of RES4Africa’s activity.

Enel Foundation joined RELAC, “Renewables in Latin America and the Caribbean”, as a Partner Agency. RELAC is a multilateral initiative to put renewables at the heart of the region’s efforts to boost economic development and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Enel Foundation will support, with researches and training initiatives, RELAC’s members effort in designing energy transition scenarios and defining enabling policy and regulation pathways.
