The third and final phase of the Siena International School on Sustainable Development 2022 was held in June at Santa Chiara Lab, University of Siena. Among the international experts and lecturers, there was Italian Minister Enrico Giovannini and Professor Jeffrey Sachs, economist at Columbia University.

Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition

 

The first cohort of engineers selected for the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition were welcomed at the inaugural meeting. The CEET was set up by UNIDO and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to contribute to the UN Secretary-General’s coalition to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050, with Enel Foundation as scientific partner.
