Communicating the Climate Crisis at Charge Energy Branding
On October 11-13 CHARGE hosted its annual Energy Branding Europe, an event that aims to shape the future of the industry by sharing knowledge, connecting leaders and empowering brands to capitalize the energy transition. One of the workshops was organized with the scientific contribution of Enel Foundation and was dedicated to “Communicating the Climate Crisis”. Managing Director Carlo Papa opened the session, together with Deputy Director Laura Giovannini as moderator.

With the scientific contribution of Enel Foundation, CMCC Foundation - Centro Euro Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici just published the Climate Risk Altas to provide a comprehensive picture of the historical trends and future changes of climate and their impacts on societies and economies.
Breaking the isolation of island climate challenges
Extreme E held an event to address the specific climate change challenges facing islands. Enel Foundation’s Managing Director Carlo Papa attended the panel, together with Prof. Carlos Duarte, Extreme E Scientific Committee member and climate expert, Carlos Sainz, one of the greatest rally drivers of all-time (Acciona Sainz XE Team), and Christine GZ, XITE Energy driver.

On October 26 the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies hosted the webinar “COP26 - An Overview of the Key Issues”, in order to discuss the Oxford Energy Forum’s latest issue (https://lnkd.in/dCRRN6BF), where Alessandro Terzulli and Carlo Papa shared their research on “Mastering the Covid zoom-in effect to make Glasgow a turning point for embedding climate change into economic and business practices”.
