The Siena International School on Sustainable Development returns on campus The third and final phase of the Siena International School on Sustainable Development 2022 was held in June at Santa Chiara Lab, University of Siena. Among the international experts and lecturers, there was Italian Minister Enrico Giovannini and Professor Jeffrey Sachs, economist at Columbia University. |

The first cohort of engineers selected for the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition were welcomed at the inaugural meeting. The CEET was set up by UNIDO and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to contribute to the UN Secretary-General’s coalition to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050, with Enel Foundation as scientific partner. |

ITCILO Youth and Climate Academy 2022 launched
Enel Foundation is proud to support the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) in their launch of the first edition of the Youth and Climate Academy: Engaging in Climate Action for a Just Transition. The Academy, is an online training programme of lectures, discussions, exercises, and interactive exchange.

New Knowledge Partnership with Student Energy
Enel Foundation is thrilled to become Knowledge Partner of Student Energy on their Career Training program and the Global Youth Energy Outlook Toolkits (GYEO). Together, we aim to strengthen the theoretical know-how and soft skills of the participants of the Career Training program, as well as to consolidate the results and maximise the outreach of the GYEO towards international institutions and private companies.

National Conference on Climatic Weather Forecasting
The second National Conference on Climatic Weather Forecasting saw Carlo Papa, Managing Director of Enel Foundation, as part of the scientific committee. It was co-organized by Società Italiana per le Scienze del Clima (SISC) and the Associazione Italiana di Scienze dell’Atmosfera e Meteorologia (AISAM).

Inaugural Energy Transition Days
Enel Foundation took part to the Inaugural Energy Transition Days last week, ss research partners of Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. Each session, held under Chatham House Rule, involved presentations from OIES research fellows and external experts, as well as time for discussion and a live Q&A.

New Green Hydrogen report with IRENA and Bruno Kessler Foundation
On the occasion of the 5th meeting of the Collaborative Framework on Green Hydrogen, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) released a new report, focusing on Green Hydrogen Cost and Potential, drafted with the collaboration of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK and Enel Foundation. Salvatore Bernabei, CEO of Enel Green Power, attended the event.
