The Adoption Lab with Luiss Guido Carli University
Enel Foundation is supporting the training of young talents involved in the Adoption Lab (AdLab) programme organized by Luiss Guido Carli University. This programme was designed to connect companies and students, helping them to understand working dynamics and strengthening their curriculum. The students “adopted” as part of the program are expected to work on business case-studies and research projects.

The African Module of OpenAfricaPower2023 begins
The OpenAfricaPower2023 training programme for over 100 talented African students started with a module focusing on the state of the art of the electricity sector. The online classes will run until the end of June on a variety of topics, such as renewables, networks technology, electrification, regulation and ICT digitalization. Further modules will explore the new frontiers of the sector.

Training for Italian diplomats on the implications of energy transition
Enel Foundation as knowledge partner with ISPI (Institute for International Political Studies) for the third consecutive year is supporting the Italian Foreign Ministry, contributing to the training for over 60 Italian career diplomats on the international implications of energy transition and climate change. The training program addresses the international implications of energy transition and climate change, highlighting risks and opportunities for Italian diplomacy and national businesses.

Enel Foundation works with IRENA on the NewGen project
Enel Foundation was pleased to be working with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) to support young innovators committed to driving the energy transition by means of the “NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator”. NewGen gives the renewable energy leaders of the future the resources they need to tackle the pressing challenges of our times. EF will provide strategic guidance, training and mentorship.

ASviS round table on the ecological transition
Enel Foundation took part in the round table discussion on "The ecological transition in the European Year of Skills”, held in Bologna as part of ASviS (Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development). The focus was on the role of universities in creating skills and involving local stakeholders, for which Christian Zuberti, Deputy DIrector of EF, highlighted the importance of cooperation between universities and companies.

Enel Foundation announced that applications for the NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator are now open, with deadline 9 June 2023. This opportunity gives young, innovative, talented, passionate individuals committed to a fair energy transition for all, the chance to bring their ideas into reality, with Enel Foundation and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
