Fulbright-Enel Foundation climate change scholarships

The long lasting collaboration between Enel Foundation and the Fulbright Commission has now given rise to a further joint project. The Fulbright-Enel Foundation Climate Change Scholarship Program generated as part of the U.S. Italy Fulbright Commission’s Visiting Student Researcher programme for post-graduates, whose academic and research careers are in relation to climate change. More specifically, the areas of interest of this Scholarship Program reflect three lines of Enel Foundation’s research, downscaling climate modelling, the analysis of social and economic risks, and technical solutions for energy infrastructure. Applications are invited from PhD students studying at Italian universities who would like to spend six months on research in the United States to complete the doctorate dissertation. This period of research must necessarily precede the award of the doctorate. The first group of five scholarships will be for the 2023/2024 academic year, starting in September/October 2023, with a potential extension of the program for the following two academic years (awarding five additional scholarships for 2024/2025 and 2025/2026).
