Overview
Andrea is Head of European Regulation at Enel SpA. Born in Seregno in 1982, holds an Master's Degree in Competition and Market Regulation issued by Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. He focuses on the process of integration of European wholesale electricity markets and on the future electricity market design. He previously worked for Enel SpA in the Italian Regulatory Department in Rome and for the Brattle Group in the Madrid office.
Andrea's Fellowship research is based on: analyzing, in the context of Enel's priorities of decarbonizing power generation and developing ultra broad band networks, how best the liberalization of electricity, telecommunication, and aviation in Europe can draw recommendations for the current reform of the market designs of electricity and telecommunications to foster innovation, resilience, the role of long-term contracts, and the creation of value for final customers.
