Raffaele Troise

Overview

After received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in Physics from the University Federico II of Naples, Raffaele began his research activity: joining the INFN Institute, collaborating with international research institutes, publishing peer-reviewed scientific articles and obtaining the Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Physics in 2011 from the University Federico II of Naples.

In 2011 he moved to his business career, as Data Scientist, in Italian start-up companies working on the development of AI models for several industrial sectors such as banking, finance, risk management, marketing, retail and energy.

Since 2014 he has been in several business units of the ENEL Group: Enel Energia – Strategic Marketing unit, Holding – Group Strategy unit, Holding – Insurance Risk Assessment unit, Enel Grids – Network Development unit and currently in the Innovation unit of Enel X Global Retail as Innovative Analytics Leader.

In these experiences Raffaele worked also on the analytics models for the energy transition issues of the utilities such as: the climatic long-term scenarios, the transition of the national energy system models, the long-term scenario planning, the climatic acute risks in the asset management, the long-term electricity demand, the monitoring of the urban anthropic carbon emissions, the electrification of the energy consumption by the residentials and the other economic sectors.
