The event, which has the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the International Italo-Latin American Organisation, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Simest, Anci, and the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, and it is realized with the support of Regione Lazio, Camera di Commercio of Rome and Unioncamere Lazio, is dedicated to international cooperation and sustainable development, with a specific focus on the corporate world.
Codeway Expo was created with the aim of enhancing cooperation between key traditional cooperation players - institutions and NGOs - and companies, which are called to play an increasingly decisive role in promoting sustainable development but that are still struggling to establish themselves as protagonists. The objective is thus to support and stimulate companies both in the private and the public sector in achieving Sustainable Development Goals through international cooperation.
In order to do so, Codeway will offer to exhibitors and attendees an exhibition area, an international conference, a seminar area and a networking area for B2B and B2G, and a competition and awards area, where participants will be able to share investment opportunities and project initiatives, as well as to enjoy art exhibitions and installations. Over the course of the three days a number of topics essential for the future international cooperation and sustainable development will be discussed, such as health, agriculture and development, infrastructure, ecological transition, and education.
In this context, Enel Foundation will organize a hybrid panel on May 20 dedicated to education and training, discussing how these can and should become the levers of international cooperation to spur sustainable development. International and national representatives of institutions, the private sector, academia and NGOs will take part to the event.
